About Us

Welcome to Gateway SHRM’s website!  Since you are here, you must be an HR Professional interested in expanding your knowledge and circle of professionals in the area.  You have certainly come to the right place.  Gateway SHRM is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management. Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking professional development and continued support of excellence in Human Resources.

We have the tools and resources to assist you in your development. The people in our organization are knowledgeable, accessible, personable and helpful. We offer programs to answer your questions, provide insight, learn a skill or subject, or meet and network with new people. The majority of our programs provide credit towards your SPHR or PHR continuing certification.

Interested in Volunteer opportunities?!  Our Board works as a team, helping each other for the benefit of the chapter and its members.  Volunteering on our Board is a great learning opportunity for those that might be apprehensive about volunteering.  We have all learned, laughed, failed and succeeded together!
